Terms of Service

TET Accessibility API. Last updated 25 July 2026.

These terms govern your use of the TET Accessibility API (the "Service"), operated by TET ("we", "us"). The Service supplies AI-written accessibility fix suggestions to the WordPress plugin TET Accessibility for WooCommerce (the "Plugin"). By requesting an API key or sending a request to the Service, you accept these terms.

1. What the Service is, and is not

The Service takes a single accessibility finding produced by the Plugin and returns a written explanation of how to fix it.

The Service does not audit your website, does not certify anything, and does not make your website accessible. Suggestions are generated by a large language model and may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing any suggestion before acting on it.

Nothing we supply is legal advice, and no output of the Service is evidence of compliance with the European Accessibility Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, WCAG, EN 301 549, or any other law or standard. Automated testing detects only a portion of accessibility barriers. If you need to establish conformance, engage a qualified auditor and test with real assistive technology users.

2. The Plugin works without the Service

Scanning, the issue list, the dismissal log and the CSV export run entirely on your own server and need no key and no account. The Service is optional and covers AI fix suggestions only. If the Service is unavailable, the Plugin continues to function.

3. Accounts and API keys

Your API key identifies your account. Keep it confidential; you are responsible for activity carried out with it. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been exposed and we will issue a replacement.

One free key is issued per email address. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free quota is a breach of these terms.

4. Plans and quotas

Quotas reset on the first day of each calendar month and do not carry over. A request that fails because of a fault on our side does not consume quota. Rate limits apply to protect the Service; exceeding them returns an error rather than a charge.

5. Payment, renewal and refunds

Paid plans are billed annually in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and your key continues to work until then.

We offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason. Email us and we will process it. After 30 days, we do not refund the remainder of a term.

Prices may change. Any change applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: resell or redistribute the Service; use it to generate content unrelated to accessibility remediation; attempt to extract the underlying prompts or models; send content you have no right to send; automate requests beyond your plan's rate limits; or use the Service to build a competing product.

We may suspend a key that is causing operational harm. Where we can, we will contact you first.

7. Your content

You keep all rights in the markup and text you send. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to produce your suggestion and to operate the Service. You own the suggestions you receive and may use them commercially without restriction or attribution.

Do not send personal data, customer information or credentials to the Service. The Plugin does not do so, and the Service is not designed to receive it.

8. Availability

The Service is provided as-is, without an uptime commitment. We depend on third-party AI infrastructure and may need to interrupt the Service for maintenance. We will give notice of planned downtime where practical.

9. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, or any regulatory penalty or litigation cost arising from the accessibility of your website.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, and any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing your key from the Plugin. We may terminate an account for material breach of these terms, or for any reason on 30 days' notice with a pro-rata refund of unused prepaid time.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes affecting paid accounts we will give at least 30 days' notice by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
